How to Obtain Ancient Fern and Salar Berry Seeds
- Ancient Fern Seeds
- Shalar Berry Seeds
Both can be obtained by digging at excavation points in the Secret Forest using a hoe.
Cannot be obtained via the Treasure Totem
The Treasure Totem is an item crafted after mastering Gathering that generates excavation points.
I went to the Secret Forest at the very end to obtain these seeds for Perfection, and tried using the Treasure Totem repeatedly to get them, but
They didn’t appear at all.
They truly didn’t appear at all.
After checking online, it seemed like they should drop easily, so I hypothesized that the Treasure Totem might not be the source. I kept sleeping and waiting for a natural excavation point to generate in the Secret Forest.
When I dug at the naturally generated excavation point with the hoe, it dropped easily.
I spent quite a bit of time on this though…
Since I wasted time this way, I wanted to leave a note about it.
