Dutch Civilization Information – AoE3DE

I’d like to make it a little easier to see but can’t think of a good UI.

Dutch civilization features

  1. Produce settler with 100 gold
  2. Settler collect gold 15% faster
  3. There is one unit at the start with a wide field of view called an envoy
  4. Maximum population of peasants is 50
  5. Building banks to collect gold coins
  6. Skirmishers can be produced from period 2

Unique military units in the Netherlands

  1. Reuters (cavalry riflemen)
  2. Spearmen (studswacht)

Differences from the unbranded version

It seems that there are a lot of adjustments and we can’t find all the details about the differences, but we have picked out the ones that have the biggest effect.

The main adjustments are evolution bonuses and cards.

  1. The bank building limit has been increased from the initial limit to five (originally four).
  2. A card that increases the bank limit by 1 in era 1 also increases the population limit by 5
  3. The performance of the tulip speculator is increased to +25
  4. Evolution of the 900 meat spear in Period 2.
  5. Bank building experience increased to 140 and opponent experience when destroyed increased to 280.

The biggest use of this card is the 5th bank experience, which is the most common card to be turned around in Era 2.

Basic Strategy

The Netherlands is a strong point and a weak point in the creation of internal affairs by banks.

Especially at the beginning of period 2, they cannot afford to send out an army because they need a lot of meat and wood for the creation of banks.

Therefore, Holland’s basic strategy is to allocate resources for bank building up to 10 minutes, while enduring the war situation with scammies, etc., and winning by damaging the opponent during the strong 10 to 20 minute period.

Since gold can easily become excessive, it is necessary to stand around buying wood and meat at the market so as not to run out of resources.
